I usually only fish Little Bay De Noc as my in-laws live in Escanaba...and by Little Bay De Noc I mean the Escanaba river in the spring, and by the light house out of the marina. I did go out twice for salmon, but no luck. Buddy of mine up there lets me know where they are biting, but the fish are usually gone when I get there. After the gill netters were caught this spring/summer, we know why the walleye catch was down all summer. This fishery is probably going to take a while to recover.
