bayfield county/sawyer county atv trails open date?

Anyone know when these trails officially open? May 1?

may 15 for sawyer county trails.if this weather straightens out?heres good info for sawyer county.

Bayfield trails

No date set, too wet, last year it was Memorial weekend, will post when I know

Looking at May 22nd as an opening date for Bayfield County. Of course that all depends on the weather.
Will be out making assessments next week and go from there. It's just the actual trail system that's closed. All road routes are open at this time along with the Tri County Corridor so riding is possible.

yep,checked today and some areas still closed till 22nd and some don't open till memorial weekend.

All Bayfield County trails will open on May 22nd as planned. Expect trail conditions to change from area to area as we have had a very wet Spring and there are still quite a few washouts and such that will be fixed when drier conditions allow for equipment and materials get into those locations. Be advised that the Barnes area trail system has been mostly closed due to private landowners requests. When traveling in that section please contact the local businesses ahead of time to see if trail access is still available.
The Bayfield County Board has passed a resolution allowing ATV/UTV's on County Hwy N between Kickapoo Trail and Highway 27 to allow business access. Please be careful as this is also the main road for all other types of vehicles also.
