Care to elaborate - not sure I understand what happened. You were on a river and hit a soft spot?

What trail?

was on the grade coming back from onto..and there was a river of water crossing and went to avoid..caught the trail edge and i was in a lake..we didnt think to take a pix..but it looked like a groomer in a swamp..up to my a s s in water..sled would not dislodge even towing it..on its side deep..somehow my buddy thought to say"hey give it gas while i pull with the 600"..i basically stood in the lake and gassed it and it popped out..unreal..like i said be careful

Not good news, sounds like everything took a beating and will need many days of cold temps to firm everything up again. Fingers crossed. Not sure I recall things this bad up there at the end of January.

I remember when Silver City in late 90s was like that all the time on north side of 1 then rerouted trail to south side of road and never saw the problem again. I had wet feet all the time had to cross back ride next sled across while peeps tip toed to other side. Bummer
