As sad as this is, we need this reminder from time to time. For what ever reason when your on a sled sometimes it gets easy to forget to stop and look both ways. Lord only knows why.

I was riding shotgun with my husband just YESTERDAY in the dumptruck salt truck, fully loaded on an icy backroad. Two sleds came to the road ahead of us and the first guy never looked and crossed and the second looked and stopped at the last second before crossing. THANK GOD cause he wouldn't have made it. Please remember to stop and look both ways!

Whether or not the original post was proper or not, the death is forever. All I can tell you is this. As an experienced rider who was there for the aftermath, It is always on my mind when I'm riding. The thought never leaves my mind and I always ride accordingly, thinking of making the wrong choice and how it affects others.

Ride Smart and always think of those who are your loved ones!
