I say stick with McCown this week. But for the long haul cutler needs to come back IMO. I would like to see how jay would be playing after more knowledge of the offense and his emerging weapons and great O line play(Something jay has not had before this year). I cant get over a 34 or whatever old McCown being the future, and I dont think he can beat philly but I think Jay can. His stats were great against minnesota but he left so many plays on the field that I think jay woulda made. McCown is playing great but i truly believe cutler will come into his own with what he NOW has to work with. Bears should win this week with either QB. Coach Glasses says when jay is healthy he is gona start and i agree, but can see both sides of the argument. go Bears....go baltimore toooo

Cutler has mad skills & Coach Glasses wants him to start for Browns. Today is the big day for Cutler going to work him out move him around see if he can really do all of it. Sometimes when you sit & absorb get out of the line of fire mind & body clicks. I hoping this is the case with Jay. If Cutler starts slow & no magic Coach Glasses has to pull him sooner than later 2nd chances are done in the North got to win out or over.

Haha ill be pissed if thats the case. Cutty for tuddy is my guess (hope). I think he's starting to realize he doesnt need to score every play....and as Whitedust mentioned sitting out and watching from the outside looking in can really sink the mind with the body.

Cutler is a go Sunday but I need to see him take some hits & not limp off the field but McCown ready too. What are keys to this game? I don't know much about Browns but do know they have a good D don't give up many yards. I ride in WI, Vilas County some in Onedia & Forest counties too a lot in WUPMI & interior UP when too much traffic. I used to ride anywhere the snow was in WI chased the snow all over WI & always took 1 week vacation riding in UP. Buds would hemm & haww & I would hook up my trailer & go sleddin.....no big deal riding alone used to it. Funny tho buds would call me on my cell phone... where are you?... how are the trails? ....wish I went with you!....WOW you went alone! ...stuff like that. If good conditions I'm riding somewhere that is a sure thing.:)

I'll be there in The Land of Cleve to root on da Bears...my opinion would have Josh start the game and let him go for a qtr or 2. If things are going well then no need to change...if not, bring in Cutty and see what happens. Those high ankle sprains can be a pain and take a lot longer to heal up. Why not give him another week if things are rolling?

I think that was the bears thinking last week. This was the extra week. I think McCown could def handle the browns, but after thinking about it I think this game should be good for jay to get back out there before the big one next week. I shouldnt count this as a win, but comon we gotta beat cleveland. I dont expect jay to come out guns blazing, but by the 2nd half he should unleash the cannon.

My argument for McCown vs cutler will stay the same. McCown stats are better than his play. 11-1 TD to pic ratio is somewhat lucky. Multiple pics have been dropped that never seem to fall jays way, and some of those TD catches were freakin redic. Dont get me wrong he has playd great but gota look deeper .The last 4 weeks line play has been redic, the whole offense is coming together and finally starting to grasp the complicated trestman west coast offense. Jay is head and shoulders a better QB than McCown. He prolly has more talent in his finger nail than McCown has in is body. I would have liked to seen McCown perform the past few years under multiple Offenses and O coordinators, Horrific O line play, Being sacked more than anyone,and really no weapons besides marshall last year. And still have a winning record and way above average play given the circumstances. Anyone who really thinks McCown is better is off there rocker IMO. If they let Jay go after this year it will be disapointing, because who will replace him that is truly better? A hopeful draft pic or a 34 year old McCown that will come back to reality eventually......i duno.....Pay the man his money

No way no how is jay worth 20 mil..they paid flacco 20 mil and he won a super bowl ...think he's worth it?..until the loser mckaskeys start operating like the hawks..no player will give them the home town discount ...Kane and taes will resign for 7 mil..5 mil less than they r worth..u watch...bears have more free agents than any team in league..they can't sign jay..maybe franchise 1 year..but not long term...the quarterback whisperer can make Orton good...(doesn't mean I like coach glasses)...just got off the polaris horse ...smooth asss riding up here

They should let Cutler walk, sign McCown for 3-4 years, draft the quarterback of the future and let him take over when McCown is washed up. As long as Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery are still catching the passes you don't need an elite quarterback. Take the money you are going to not pay Cutler and shore up the defense and extend Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery right now. And you can get tickets for the Browns/Bears game for $6.00 on stubhub...only bad part, you have to go to Cleveland.

Well cutler was pretty rusty there in the first half. Thank god he led them back. No way bears franchise Jay, would be way to big off a hit against the cap. I think they sign him to 4 years at 14-16 mill a year.If hes not willing to take that then he will walk im sure. cant pay 20 mill unless he wins the super bowl this year....ha. McCown will come back to reality, i want a bigger sample size before i commited to him and see him face a little adversity or pressure. Drafting a Qb is extremely difficult and usually doesnt work out. I think trestman, emery, and cutler with either lead the bears to the promise land or all go down together.
