Bears Vs Lions

Cutler not sure he is ready for action Sunday. To me you keep him on the bench until he is soild no doubt good to go. Josh big MC has played well enough to be competitive with Lions why change QBs if Cutler not 100%? I'm thinking high scoring game unless Bears can play keep away procession ball the entire game. Lions a big play team does not take them long to score if they jump quickly on of Bears D score bunch of points their game. Last thing I expect is a D slug fest going to be a track meet.:)

I cant stand the lions GO BEARS hahah. Its a must win for either team, CUTLER has to play. With cutler bears should win, all bears want revenge for that horrid performance at there place. Lions dont come to chicago and win very often. Bears 34 Lions 24

Cutler will start & has been cleared by docs. Hmm I'm not sure I would start him & wait another week McCown is winning no hurry.IMO To me Cutler would be #2 for this game start him the following week.

Ya this is good IMO, i heard jay on ESPN radio 1000, he wants the ball. If your star is ready and wants the ball ya gota give it to him. McCown is a good backup, but in 11 years he is what he is... a backup.The bears cant afford to lose this game so that captain has to go down with the ship so to say. But i have a feeling they have something to prove this week. Be afraid Lions.

It is not in the nature of any true Lion to be afraid of anything.

However, the bears often hibernate!

So you have to ask yourself, pilgram.....will the bears be sleepy this wekend?

Ha....in the whole scheme of things....does it really matter? Will it bring world peace? Will it cure sicknesses?

Dah ball with be kicked and whatever happens will happen and Monday will come and you WILL go to work!

Ha id rather go to work a little happier.....beating the lions will bring peace of mind.

I think this will be a smashmouth black & blue game so much on the line as Pack could fade without Rogers rare opportunity for Bears & Lions to move to top of the division. Big game for both teams Bears looking for season split at home with Lions. There will be blood in the water & big hits!

Yea they do, but so do we and reggie away from dome and turf isnt the same. we will see. Peanut historically shuts down megatron pretty good. As long as they dont try to have conte help will megatron we should be OK. If conte covers calvin over the top we r screwed.

These threads make me laugh....sorta like the ones that says BLUE SLEDS ARE BETTER THAN YELLOW SLEDS AND YELLOW IS BETTER THAN GREEN SLEDS...ETC.

It is just a game and it can go either way no matter who is playing on whom ever.

Then why do you read them and waste your time posting on a topic you consider a joke. No one is saying any team is better like which brand of sleds is better. haha we are having fun taking some jabs, why do you care?DA BEARZZZZ. I guess you consider ESPN and any other sports TV or radio a joke when they compare and talk about opponents and this weeks game/games. as they would say on ESPN....COOOOMON MAN

Actually what they are really doing is selling advertising so that those that watch can get brainwashed into thinking this beer is better than that beer...etc.

And just like anyone else on here, I read what I want along with far more interesting things and concepts....just now and again, I dip down and read about who's sled is faster than someone elses sled and why the brown team will murder the blue team....but it never fails to make me laugh as some get their underware in a bunch about it.

McCown is doing better than anyone would have expected including Cutler. This is the last year of Cutler's contract, the only reason he wants to come back this week is because he's thinking if McCown has another good game his stock will keep going down. If he would have had another year on the contract he would sit out and be a cry baby like he's always been. I'd say keep him on the bench and make him realize he is nothing special and there is no way he's getting a 100 million dollar contract.

I'd almost say the ship has a better chance of going down if the "Captain" takes over again because I really doubt he is coming back for any reason other than he's scared.

I agree with most of what you said but Cutler is still young & special & he does have an impressive skill set. You can see that Trestman has worked on Cutler"s release holding the ball higher & he is getting rid of the ball much quicker when things click. McCown is much older & good at being #2 that is his value. Cutler has to start putting up big numbers & winning or Bears will draft their own young gun & phase out Cutler or just trade him. Just me but I would like to see Cutler show more positive emotion on the field more chest bumps & fanny patting. I like Kyle Long on every TD he is there jumping up & down bear hugging everyone Bears need more of that.
