Bears Vs Lions

McCown is doing better than anyone would have expected including Cutler. This is the last year of Cutler's contract, the only reason he wants to come back this week is because he's thinking if McCown has another good game his stock will keep going down. If he would have had another year on the contract he would sit out and be a cry baby like he's always been. I'd say keep him on the bench and make him realize he is nothing special and there is no way he's getting a 100 million dollar contract.

I'd almost say the ship has a better chance of going down if the "Captain" takes over again because I really doubt he is coming back for any reason other than he's scared.

McCown is doing better than anyone expected but i couldnt disagree more the only reason Jays playing today is money related. Whether its the bears or not Jay is going to get paid by someone, thats a fact. Everyone in the bears organization know jay gives them the best shot to win. Jay has made a pile of money already in his career and i think he wants to win, the money will come. Plus its not even his call, if trestman believed McCown was better than a banged up jay he would sit jay. Jay leaves a sour taste is peoples mouth because of his body language im guessing. the guy has taken a beating being sacked more than anyone with no line in the past and been with 4 or 5 different OC's with the bears, and performed better than most would given the circumstances. Put yourself in his shoes. I want to see him with the same playbook and a capable Oline for more than 12 months and then see how good or bad he really is. Bear down. I expect a monster day outa the bears Offense

Well there goes Bears offense monster day, what a miserable performance. Bears had a great opportunity to take the NFC North lead but now there rate to the Lions, major disappointing game. Bears have a long way to go to be a realistic contender.

Cutler just can't stay healthy. He's pretty fragile it seems and injury prone.

I still don't understand why Trestmen started Cutler? He was good for Q1 then down hill from there & you could tell his groin was bothering him. Both teams had opportuities to blow the other out but mistakes were made. I can't see Cutler starting next week put him in #2 spot until he is at least 95%. Pack looked horrible today so neither Bears or Lions out of it just the Vikings have no where to go. Putting Mccown in during last minutes was a good move but way way tooooooooo late! :( Did Trestmen learn anything today??

Yeah even I was saying he needed to come out in the 3rd quarter he just didnt look right, but still shoulda lead them to the win if Jeffrey coulda caught one of those 2 touchdowns in his hands the games over, or that weak holding call on forte wasnt called or trestman kicks the field goal on 4th down. Numerous ways to win that game. Gave it away. Still have a favorable schedule, good win by detriot, hope we have a chance to play them again.
