Just the opposite. After losing all four pre season games, getting lucky on first game, giving up 9 sacks in one half, losing qb for a week and then to end up winning the conf and making it to the nfc championship game is pretty damn amazing. My Pt stands if Pack lose Sunday your season was worthless.

Wrong the packs season is complete by winning the super bowl of the mid-west sure we want to beat the steelers but to beat the bears on there home field in the nfc championship is plenty I will remember that FOREVER and we now have bragging rights for 20-30 years watching the halas trophy getting on the plane heading back to titletown was enough for anyone that follows the pack if the bears win that game there fans would never forget it either.

As one who really could care less either way, I find it interesting how the story changes. A few years back when the Bears made it to the Super Bowl, every Pack fan on the site was saying the same thing on how it does not matter, you need to win the big game. No one remembers the second place team.
This time around, it is the exact opposite. "Worst case, 2011 NFC Champions! Best case Super Bowl Champions!" and "Super Bowl of the Midwest". Proves my point.

the fact that the bears won there 1st game of the year against the LIONS through a bad call was a great example of there entire season,...they are an 8-8 team at best next season.
Do we get BOTH halas trophies? ....just wonderin if we owners can unbolt the brass from the old one and scrap it out and then use the walnut to warm someones home,....bet that wood would bring big bucks at auction

Rules are the same for all teams. Lion / Bears game went to booth review booth officals enforced rule made the correct call. Call was correct although you may not like the call. W for Bears.

Didn't the Bears beat the Packers once this year? Come on, they won the NFC Central this year when no one picked them to do so. Give them some credit for crying out loud! To top it off, the Pack LOST to the LIONS on December 12th 7-3!!!! That's even worse than winning on a booth review.
