Took my wife and a few of my kids out for a ride this afternoon. We had a nice open field for the youngsters to get comfortable on their sleds. 36 degrees and blue bird skys, we all had a ball! Looks like they have outgrown the Yamaha sno scoot so I'm going to list it for sale. If anyone is interested give me a yell. It really is a great starter sled that scoots along.

keep in mind they are a collectors sled now, a fair price is $1200. Everything works correctly, lights, enricher valve, controls, brakes, oil injection, track in nice shape. Front bumper is dented.

Thats a really fair number Lenny. Whenever I've seen one it's usually closer to $1,800. One of my friends had one at his folks lake place and we all used to ride it around the lake. It was a ball and really took off. It was a blast to just hang way off it pulling a hard corner. Kids could barely even get on it with all the fun we had riding it!

That is a more than fair price, when u see them @ haydays they are beat faded paint, rotten seat. dented skis & stil asking 1200-1500. I really want to get my son on one but hes gotta couple yrs still. I dont think youll have a problem moving it.

I've had a few of them over the years along with the Yamaha big wheels, still have a big wheel 200 so I always look them up on line to see how they are moving and what they bring. Mine is not beat and I have owned it for almost 5 years now and honestly have used it probably 4-5 times a year which translates to about 10 hrs a year. I do not ever remember running more tan 3 tanks of fuel through it each year. Today it was idling just a tad low so I will need to service the carb because the pilot jet is probably partially clogged. Nice thing about it is that each time it sells it's a few years older and no one looses money on it because they maintain their value. I paid $1288 on ebay 5 years right after I moved up here and I bought it from the town I lived in,,so my buddy brought it up for me when his family came to visit. Yamaha also made the big brother to this sled and they called it the "sno sport" with a 125 motor and a independent front suspension. The sno sports go for 2 g's in good condition. These little sleds were made from 1988-1991,,much better sled than a modern 120

How about the grin on his face. That is what its all about, everyday my kids come home from school they ask to "ride snowmobile" alot of days we ride around the farm in circles til it gets dark. They could not be happier, & the days when I cant find the time, they look forward to tomorrow.

so what is next?
my bud just drove 5.5 each way to pick up a 06 ski doo 300 freestyle.
those things are also gold. he has owned it for less than a mo and already has a list of dads who have kids just getting on 120 that want it when he moves to a 440.
bottom line find a 300 freestyle at a good price buy it

I like the idea of "recess" its been a while. So I think this afternoon I am going to have recess and ride my sled. Quick loop in northern bayfield and back home for supper!
