I have bought 4 enclosed trailers and 5 open trailers from him for work. Guy has an indifferent personality but he is true to his word. Trailers work just fine. Has big lot with trailers in West Salem and another one in Madison.

The ad info on location is vague. I thought they were in St. Johns, MI. Trailers look nice. I am looking at making aToy Hauler out of a 7x16. small, but I will use it very little each summer. The pricing looks good. They have Dexter axles which is a plus.

Wayne,
2 things.......
1) I like the recommendation from Larry " he is true to his word " ...I kind of admire that now-a-days, I have never heard of Becker but LD bought 4 or 5,,, must not be bad.
2) There is a 7X14 inline just down the road from me, for sale, just driving by it doesn't look bad. If you would want I could get you some contact info and look it over for you should you be interested ???? Just a thought, I'll even get you some pics. I keep driving by it and wishing I could justify another 1 ( LOL ) . I don't know the people but would be willing to give it the " evil eye " for you ? Let me know.

Looks like I may be doing a road trip to Wis. if the prices in the Michigan Auto and RV ads are correct. I will call first with a million questions. looks like a 22 hr. round trip from my house. Heck, I just did a 8 1/2hr. round trip to Plymouth, Ind. for an old rusty snow plow for my garden tractor. road trips are fun!

I live 5 miles west of his lot, I've never bought a trailer there but I can tell you he does have a nice selection. I believe they also have a lot in Madison. Check him out on ebay.

I would guess most of what he sells is from the Elkhart, IN area. I don't think he manufactures anything does he? I think he is a Dealer.

RE: Becker trailer

Just bought a trailer from them. They do not manufacture trailers.
The one I bought is a United from Indiana. It was worth the drive to West Salem.
I worked with Cody for my trailer. They do have some nice trailers in stock.

Thanks guys, I am going to do a road trip over there and get one. I have it figured out on what I want and then again on what I need. Work trailer that can haul a skid of tile, yet will also fit 2 Harleys or a couple long tracks with living quarters in the front. I have a Prowler 29S bunk house that is in storage for the last 15 yrs. I never use. It is worth more in parts than at resale value. I plan to Gleen the roof air, awning, Refrigerator, furnace and microwave and a couple windows out of it. And build a way cool toy hauler out of it as my winter project. I have Cabinet guys that owe me favors, to do the cabs. I studied the Prowler from one end to the other and it can not be changed to haul 2 bikes. It is a bunk house. Plus "Road trip and winter project" may get me off this site once and a while! lol.

I do believe all of his trailer are steel frame if that makes a difference to you.

No not really. Gunna haul tile! at least that is what the accountant will be told. I even will go as far a cargo doors and a re movable ramp. Gotta look convincing. I like the flat side no rivet or screws exposed idea.

I just need a cheap way to go to our MC 2-3 day camp out events and the wife doesn't have to sleep on the ground next summer (even though she will be tenting it at Sturgis). Keep her happy. Plus I actually could use it for work. It will become a many uses trailer. I all ready have a 2 place all aluminum Mtn. sled trailer. She wants a few luxuries for summer without dragging the 29' Prowler around with no way to haul bikes. Most the time we ride the bikes and then motel it, but as the newly elected "Road Captain" and her as Club Secretary we need to be at these events. So it looks like a decked out Toy hauler that my 1/2ton Hemi can pull and will pass for a work trailer.

IMO it would be worth the drive there to check them out based on what you're looking for. I liked them there, just didn't have what I was looking for at the time.

Thank you, Looks like they have lots to choose from. 2 different locations. If they don't have what I want on a lot then I can have them order one for me. Hope the prices in the ad is not a scam. Pricing seems very good.
