Bergland Area 1/31-2/2/15

Had a great time riding around the Bergland area from 1/31-2/2. The trails were a bit rough Saturday afternoon 1/31, but after some cold temps and grooming, the trails improved a lot and were pretty decent on 2/1 and 2/2. The off trail snow was about 2 to 2-1/2 feet deep and fairly compact with only up to 6" of fluff on top. Overall, it was a great trip. I remember on a post a couple weeks ago that moderator, Mspease recommended JW's BBQ and Brew for a good meal so we tried it out. The food, especially the smoked meat, was excellent.

Nice pics! I'm glad you found some good trails. Great to hear you tried JW's and liked it! We have to spread the word so it's there for many years to come.
