best skid plate

hi everyone just wondering what the best skid plate for a 2011 switchback 600 is? it is still the iq chassis. i was looking at the skinz skid plate just curious what everyone thinks

no matter what brand you put on there, it won't be much of a plate. There just isn't that much to cover under there. It's not like the old INDY sleds where the plate was as wide as the sled and long. Now they are small, and need to be out of the way of the A arms. SportTech has many decent priced ones. Try www.shadetreepowersports.com they carry many different off brands.

You don't really get much extra float out of them. A little, but really it's more about protection for the bulk head and underside of the sled. Helps to cover up catch points etc.. Good luck

I know the one for the new RMK is just last yrs kind of worthless.
u need to add a chunk of alloy or something to cover the cut out for draining the old Chane case and that is a area that needs more plate than is there any way. that lower pulley is way to close to the belly

Let's see I have Shadetree, Dennis Kirk, SLP, HRP, Firstplaceparts, Amsoil, Fett Brothers Performance, Al's Snowmobile parts warehouse, Spankys and Klim catalogs in my arm rest magazine rack for quick access. Now where in the world did my Poo catalog ???? Skylar!!!!!!!!!! lol.
