(Source: Fox News) KEWEENAW COUNTY -- The first money from the Federal Great Lakes restoration initiative will be used to preserve a portion of the Lake Superior shoreline in Keweenaw County.
The $1.7 million grant will buy more than 1,400 acres in Lac la Belle where the Bete Gris wetlands preserve is located.
The Houghton Keweenaw Conservation District will serve as title holder and land manager.
The area will remain open for passive recreation.

looks like some place I will be riding illegally not because I need to but because I loath the fed stepping in spending my money on the land then telling me I cant use it. trespassing and boondocking yep that would be me on any fed land {my land}designated passive recreation.
