we rented a house just across the street from recreational springs resort . more or less 10 min up the road from lead.
worked out well for us with gas at rec springs and trail just behind rec springs.
the house we rented was set up for a lot of people we only had 4 people and 5 dogs yep 5. I think it would be a great house for a club trip u can sleep like 13 guys with out having to share a bed.

I was in a House at Deer Mt 2 weeks ago. Trails were great. New people in Rec Springs now.

There are a lot of House rentals in Deer Mt subdivision that are very nice.

what time of the year do you guys head out to the black hills? i'm sure it depends on snow but mid january or february? i know alot of the forest roads and two tracks out there so i am hoping to get out there when the snow is deep and ride mostly off trail... i would guess you guys have been to the moonshine gulch saloon in Rochford..

I love the Hills. Not real happy I didn't make it over there this yr. If anyone wants to hook up next yr, I would definitely be in!!! I heard that Rec Springs is under new ownership (badly needed!) and they are working hard to turn it around. Previous owner had made that place a complete joke.

We were out there about 10-12 years ago. It was alot of fun, but no off trail riding like I was hoping for. We went in January, but they had just came out of a long warm spell. While we were there the trail were awesome. Temps were still in the 40s during the day. Trails were groomed every night and there was very little traffic. There are not that many miles, so we did a few trails multiple times.

my wife has hundreds of shots .she is one of those if u don't have a pick and post it on FB it could not have happened people.
1 of her lenses cost more than all my trips this season .I don't say a word about her toys she dose not ask about mine. the way I like it.
I will post some from her computer after I get my taxes sorted.
1 brown paper grocery bag sorted and added just 1 shoe box left
