Has anyone stayed here in Boulder Junction? Good? Bad? Looks nice on the web site and read some good reviews, but I really do not put too much stock in reviews not read on JD.

Boulder Bear Motor Lodge

There or the boulder junction motor lodge is where we stay. Both places are nice.
x2...there two place were the places we stayed on our very first two trips up north snowmobiling and visited many times after that. Even tho we are now based in Lando I would go back there if the need ever arose.
We have had our cottage on Boulder Lake for 18 years and have stayed at both places when we were remodeling. Both are great places and crazy easy trail access. The Boulder Jct. Motor Lodge is probably the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. Boulder is just above the snow belt so there is always enough snow to launch you into the UP. Great central location with short rides to Land o Lakes, Manitowish Waters, and Presque Isle. Plus it takes less than two hours to get up to Hoop n' Holler at the top of Gogebic.
Its the best place to stay in town...the other two places, lets just say, wouldnt be the best option.
