I somehow broke the drive axle on my 2000 Yamaha V-Max 500( must be from all the torque). It broke right next to the sprocket on the chaincase side. My question is it pretty straight forward as far as pressing off the drive sprockets. I know, take several measurements, support the hub not the outer part when pressing them off. Is there anything that else that I should watch out for. Everything in the chaincase is fine still going to replace bearings and seal even though they were just replaced 4-500 miles ago.
