There is a bar and grill about 2 blocks from my house (Highland Howies) which I frequent. This past Sunday, I drove by the parking lot and saw 5 sleds and a truck with a trailer. We had about 16" on the ground after the last storm on on January 13th. People have been dropping and riding from that location for about 5-6 days since the trails opened here. I have never seen that amount of snowmobiling activity in this location. Sadly, the trails have closed as of yesterday here. I hope they can open again but the forecast does not look good. We are usually done with trails here by late February.
