Buckhorn Rd shooting.

Last Monday there was a high speed chase that started at the Holiday @ 28 and FFH 13. Seems the guy was involved in a domestic dispute.
Cops chased down 13 to Buckhorn Rd. He took a right and made it past Doe Lake Rd and crashed.
Cops have been keeping details under wraps so far.

Heard thru the grapevine after the crash the cop found the guy fleeing the scene. When told to stop he charged at the cop.
Shot him dead on the spot.

Crazy stuff.

Seems like more and more of this kind of stuff in the U.P.

Don't believe everything (anything?) you read on channel 6's website or in the Mining-Urinal.......it WAS NOT a domestic dispute.......it was an argument between 2 guys......I know both of them but I'm not going to name names.......

And the accident/shooting happened right before you get to the sharp turn where Doe Lake Rd. takes off to the west......

There's been no real facts about the shooting released as yet and quite frankly I wonder if there ever will......so long as the driver did not have any kind of weapon there's no rational reason for this to have ended in a fatality......other than the obvious of the political correct environment in the entire country forcing departments to hire a bunch of sissies as police..........that's as nice as I can phrase it..........YMMV

P.S. I know more about this situation than I'm ready to share.......besides, if I told you how I REALLY feel about it I'd probably end up banished from the site.......

More so than you, OBVIOUSLY.

I'm not looking to start a pi$$ing contest but do know what really went on with this situation? Because I do. And if I wrote what I really think about the local cop and his actions I would undoubtedly get banished. Go ahead, flame away.

Maybe I am way off, but I am guessing there was alcohol involved. Seems to be the case most of the time. If he was sober at the time, he'd probably still be alive today.
