Last weeks the bugs really kicked in.... Colder temps over the weekend was nice and reduced the number of bugs.
The biting black mini flies. (may flies?) clouds for over your head. They love to bite the back of our neck. Bite your ear lobes....
You have to wear long sleeves and a net hat to function at all outside.
Today I am just starting to see some mosquitoes.

Bring on the DEET and Thermacell.

I hear you bugs suck, and I mean that literally, they bite and suck your blood out
annoying SOB's for sure.
I bought a fogger a few yrs ago, in a real bad mosquito's yr, helped a little but? think I didn;t have the best chemical to fog with, just what came with it
BUT man, some days/evenings its almost impossible to do anything outside without getting eaten alive
I know people that plant a lot of citronella plants as they claim that helps keep them away??
but have to bring them in come colder temps?
I'm too lazy to try this! LOL

A person shouldn't have to "lather up" with a bunch of crap just to enjoy the outdoors.
Bugs SUCK. Take the enjoyment right out of the summer for me. Going to have to purchase
a BUNCH of those Thermocells to get the deck project done in a couple of weeks,... Then
a Big 'ol Screened in Gazebo thingy,... just to be able to sit outside. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz WHACK!!!!!! :)
Nothing beats the smell of a fresh cut lawn and steaks on the grill though!!!!

has anyone seen where they banned any bug spray with deet in it in Canada?
That must suck for them guys up there
