my dad built his barn first but he has not finished out the shop part yet. did you put the heat in the floor, I have heard great things about it, guess JD has it in his too.

so,,,,it's been a week since you posted this thread, have you talked to anyone about the slow progress, just curious if the posts have persuaded you in some way.

We thought if we had to do it over again we would build the barn first, but then again by doing the house then the barn we built a barn that matches the colors of the house so it all looks good together.
I did do in floor heat but haven't got the boiler yet. I did the Crete Heat 2" panels on the floor and did 24" of 2" vertical under the walls. I am planning to use a Maxim boiler and burn corn.
I was originally just going to finish one end of the barn but decided to slow down and do it all the way I wanted so when I am done it will be the way I want it.
