Cadillac Snow Fest?

Looking for any info or opinions on this event. Looking to take wife and two small kids ages 8 and 9. Things like where to stay, what to do and overall is it worth the five hour ride?
Is it worth it? I have been there. Not enough stuff to do. I would say no it is not worth it. There is plenty of riding to the west of Cadillac in the Wellstone/Irons area to keep you busy, but the event itself......not much.

I agree with polarisrider1----It would be O.K. for a couple of hours for you if you have a sled. I think the two kids would get bored rather quickly. Plenty of riding areas West of Cadillac.
I have been several years and have found plenty to . Thursday starts off the event with a chilli cook off Friday is the poker run which is out Cadillac West and covers about 200 miles Saturday is the radar runs and plenty of things to do each night. I used to take the kids all the time and they had a good time watch for list of events on Cadillacs convention and visitors web site or google north american snowmobile festival
