It can go either way. I have been there that week before, in fact even a little earlier by couple days and the snow was great that year. Just go to their website and check into the early bird specials (If they still have them) and see what week they plan on opening. We had to deal with Arctic Cat closing trails down to shoot footage from a helicopter for their next years promos, they had covers they would use to ride them out of the lodge so no-one could take a peak.
