Can't get Photos to enlarge

For some reason I can't get photos to load up to the enlarged size. I see then inline in a post but when I click on them it acts like they are loading then they just stop without finishing. I've deleted my history and cookies but that didn't make any difference. Been happening for about 2 days now, but everything else on the site is working fine. Any ideas?

It happens to me from time to time. When I click on a pic the window just goes gray. When I try it later, it works fine. Now that traffic is up, has anyone else noticed how much slower the site has become too?

Its been happening to me for a few months now. I noticed if I click on it a second time while its "loading", it opens up in a full size version at the top left of the screen.

Yes, this is what I have been doing to remedy as well.

I ran some utilities on the board that were supposed to rebuild the attachment database. Hopefully this will help, let me know. Also if someone that is having the issue can try it on google chrome and see if they have the same results.

Seemed like they worked Sunday, but just tried some now and had the same problem. They do open large into corner of screen but just without option to move through multiple shots if you click on it while it is loading like a couple guys said above.
