I just purchased a 2007 Ski Doo 550 GSX in SHOWROOM CONDITION!! I was cleaning the carbs because it would die frequently until it was warmed up. I then noticed that the intake boots (carb sockets) were all weather cracked. I thought this can't be, on this new of a machine. I called several local dealers and they are all out of stock and they will not receive them until maybe June or next Fall. So I spent the afternoon looking online and everyone is out of these. In my opinion this apparently a manufacturing DEFECT and should be covered under warranty. I called Ski Doo at the Wausau Number and I was connected to someone in Canada who had NO Clue. I have been a Pure Polaris Guy for over 23 years and NEVER an engine problem with ATV's and Snowmobiles. Does anyone know where to get these boots or have had a problem similar to this?? I really like the way these machine handles and rides and they are very nice to work on but I have that uneasy feeling in my stomach right now because we have 12 inches of snow now not in June.

If there's no true cracks yet that are letting in air, you could take rubber cement to them. Dealer recommended that to me when i was rebuilding a Doo 700 with slight cracks in the carb boots.

Thoroughly inspect them, they may not be cracked all the way through. looked up for aftermarket ones and don't see any. good luck

This is a known 'Doo bug. Good thing you caught them before anything bad happened. Most people replace them with either VForce3 or Boyesens. I personally replaced mine with the Boyesens because the body is all aluminum, with only a short rubber boot connecting it to the airbox. Tons of reading on this subject on DooTalk.
