Card Games or Dice

Going on a trip with my wife and two more couples this weekend probably going to do quite a bit of socializing and stopping wondering if anyone plays any kind of card games or dice games when they stop at local establishments or anything else that's kinda fun or entertaining

Bar dice is always fun to play or a friendly game of ship-captain-crew is always entertaining. back at the cabin we play Euchre. Its simple to learn and almost everyone knows it.

Is it still illegal to shake dice in Michigan? We tried to shake dice one night and the Bartender was over before they stopped rolling! Lol She was not happy either.

I thought the line was when you have money on the table. I dont know the law. Sounds like another stupid one if you cant have dice at all.

I have come to realize the Euchre, Cribbage, Smear, & Sheepshead are very localized games. I grew up in Northern WI and never played euchre in my young life but played cribbage a lot. Moved to Southern WI and there is a euchre tournament every weekend at some local bar but ask them to play sheepshead & they look at you like your from another planet. Cribbage seems to be a little more universal...then I married a gal that plays Pinochle...ugh!
