Was part of that mess, avoided crashing into the Benz in front of me by throwing it in reverse. Couple inches to spare! Lol ours happened headin up right at Merrill avenue in Wausau. . I’d say 25 car pileup but was able to back up to take exit , got back on at the farm and fleet only to see another pileup that you see in picture above. Worst I’ve ever seen first hand. We were very lucky. Had a buddy leave Chicago west suburb to eagle river and took around 9-10 hours. Heard there were some injuries but not sure of severity’s.

I blew through there 75 to 80 but was at 1:30-2:00 pm just as the snow was starting to get heavy, glad I was 3 hours ahead of that!

We got lucky and Google maps had us get off 51 and had us going all over the place in Wausau and got on just south of Merrill and there was nobody on 51 it was weird. Glad we weren't a half hour later I am sure that ended up being the reroute for N 51. It was backed up big time from all the traffic being rerouted going south.
