CDC Wants to Shut Down MI AGAIN?!

What happened? Whitmer had MI shut down most of the winter to prevent Covid spread. Now MI is one of the nation’s hot spots for new Covid cases. I’m thinking avoiding the virus spread earlier just postponed the current spread. Just my own theory any factual reasons for the current intense spread?

The variant of Covid19 is 50% more contagious, that means it spreads easier. I know the variant is in the county I live in. More people sick now then last year in our county.

If it’s possible all J&J vaccine should be diverted to MI. I know there is a J&J shortage but what’s out there should go to MI for one and done. I believe MI would have done better against the variant had the original virus run it course so people had antibodies to fight off the variant. No easy answers looks like a difficult 90 days and try to vaccinate out of the new spread. Just can’t avoid an airborn virus and live a normal life. Strange Whitmer is not shutting MI down following CDC advise and what the UK did.

Kind of hard to self develop variant antibodies without first having the variant? Cart before the horse? Many said over a year ago, as I think so did Fauci, that the challenge would be to stay ahead of the virus mutating rapidly?

I thought that I read or saw that Michigan has 39% of all adults vaccinated (I could be wrong). That is higher than Wisconsin and most states. It was also mentioned that Whitmer asked for more vaccine doses and she did not even know that they had 340,000 just sitting there not being used. All I can say if we ever have a really bad epidemic or something deadly like Ebola spread rampant God help us because it certainly shows that the people in charge like the CDC and WHO failed miserably with their response to COVID-19.

You got that right. Ebola would have killed us all. Total idiots in charge. And I am not optimistic we will learn from it.

Biden and his administration want her to shut everything down again, because it works so well doing that...

why aren't they saying what percentage of new cases are with people who have already been vaccinated? you have to be a complete idiot or just oblivious to not think we would be dealing with different "variants" we have done it with the common flu (that no longer exists) for years, vaccinations based on "best guess" as to what variant we will be dealing with. They were right on it when cases fell so rapidly that the vaccine works and walla just as fast we now have all of these variants, these drug companies were confident they would be effective against the new variants so where are the stats that say how many of these new cases are people who have been vaccinated? I have 2 family numbers one who was hospitalized with covid and ended up having blood clots in her lungs as a result of, after being vaccinated. Yes I know the vaccine is only what? 70% effective but where are the numbers? WE CANNOT SHUT DOWN AGAIN!!!

J&J now paused due to blood clots.

I think Whitmer can't order shut downs since her emergency order powers ran out.

That’s good. The one thing I will say about Witler is she will fight with anyone that tries to tell her what to do. So hopefully she sticks to her norm and doesn’t cave to president and cdc because she thinks she knows better.

You won't hear the word shutdown out of WHitmer's mouth again.
She knows it's political suicide.

.... vaccinations based on "best guess" as to what variant we will be dealing with.

The thing virtually no one understands is this "vaccine" is not even COVID specific...it's not even a "vaccine" in the truest sense of the word...it's an experimental genetic modification of how each person's body handles certain proteins and is attempting, with limited success, to train or re-train a person's body how to deal with invaders...i.e. the COVID virus
Correct, but there's more. When the courts shut her down, she moved to using the health department to keep things locked down (masks, distancing, schools, etc) and then using MIOSHA to go around fining any business that did not comply for "health" violations.

Her actions the entire time have been political. This latest one was "recommending" schools close grades 6-12 as well as sports. That puts the school in a real no-win situation. Do they keep going because we know there's been no issues with sick kids or do they close because the Govt has recommended they do so along with their local health dept.

MI is clear proof that none of the restrictions/mandates make a bit of difference from a health perspective, other than a negative impact.
