So that great new all steel house that I built has a trade off.... Cell phone reception gets pretty sketchy in places. I was looking at boosters but they are all 200 bucks or more. Anyone using a booster and wanna give a guy some advice?? Thought the days of standing in a window to talk were over... Thanks in advance...

Or going outside in the driveway..

So it took 2 45 minute phone calls with Verizon but they are sending me a booster for free. Should arrive today so I will let you know how it turns out....

Hi old abe not to hijack your thread but Wondering about these steel side walls? How is the heating/ac bills going to go. Steel cold in winter, and hotter then a fire cracker in summer time. How about other peoples comments about it looks like a pole barn. Do you get many of these strange people voice there opinion ? How about when it storms , is it loud on the inside of house. I built my own house with brick walls and spray foam, and cant hear a thing and energy bills not bad. Snow run off in the winter. Wouldn't you rather have snow on your roof for insulation for 2 months for free. as opposed to a mess in your landscape damaging plants for snow slid off, my wife would be upset lol. i say they grow back lol

yes brick is better
