Chain O' Lakes - IL

just went for a quick ride around petite and fox. All the shores have water can't tell if it's surface or other. minimal snow. Once it gets cold tonight that will be it till we get some snow.

Dang - I was hoping to go Monday. Thanks for the update. I might even go anyway with my ice scratchers just to fart around...

I walked around today. Not as bad as I thought. Shores are filled in and frozen. All old tracks are ice but untouched is not bad. Might ride to breakfast sun

Cabin: Will be at the bar I'm sure-I wear a red Ski Doo cap or red Blackhawks cap-three in group.

We are also going to The Birches this weekend. Saturday to Tuesday. You in the motel or a cabin?[/QUOTE]

Well I imagine most of the chain is frozen up pretty tight by now. I am imagining a rutted up bumpy glare ice situation. Anyone dared to give it a try?

I am thinking of trying the upper lakes and maybe bridgeport tomorrow or Sunday. I will report if nobody else has before then.
