Change in my Ride-In Plans

Well some of you from the "did you get fat" thread and some of my other posts may remember I have been planning to attend the ride-in for some time. We fixed up my son's sled and this was the father/son weekend to try out his new long track and hook up with some new friends from the site. As we were ready to leave last night, he says he feels sick and doesn't think he should go.... he did have a temp of 101.5 that morning, but I'm a suck it up and go guy. I didn't get mad, but I let him know I thought he was backing out to spend time at home to do something else. However we checked his time and it was now 103.4. Then he proceeded to puke. Now I guess I was wrong, about him, so I said I was sorry for judging him, but I had to make a choice. He said "go" so after talking it through I headed up alone. So now I'm sitting in Houghton, extra ticket for Saturday night, and do one to ride with. Got a lead on a riding partner for one day, but anyone got room for a tag-a-log rider? Also, anyone need a ticket to the banquet? I'll end up with an extra shirt too, so if you want to buy it from me I'll give you that too. It's a large. Face value or less! Don't want to get busted for scalping .

Assume that's ok with JD, right?

I'm heading out now for a quick ride, but PM me or post back if anyone needs this or is looking to add someone to their group for a while this weekend.

Wow Dave, you're just giving your stuff away and I'm trying to sell mine. Way to make me look like a cheap SOB! Actually, if someone does buy it I figured that would just give me some extra cash for the raffle or auction, so it'd still be going to a good cause. I'll be in Wetmore the 6th through Sunday. Got a sled for ya and a place to stay. I'll be up there with a buddy and doing some riding with a couple of other j ders who live there.
