Changing from Coil over shocks to Fox Floats

On and 2007-2011 F series cat. Is it hard to do? Also do I just change the fronts or is the rear shock Fox float too?

Thanks for the help,
Kevin

I am no fan of the fox float at all I think they blow ars.If looking for weight savings go with titanium springs and a revalve of your zero pro's much better package.they clame the new fox float evolve or what ever they are calling them are better but I dont know.

how come you think they aren't good?

I've thought about doing the same with my 2011 F8 EXT as well. Not so much for weight saving but just performace and to have more adjustable

I put Fox Floats on my F7 and on my Mach Z way better handling and adjustibility both sleds stay alot flatter in the corners, just my 2cents

I switched out my stock shocks on my 1M for fox floats,And love them! I revalved my skid shocks a little stiffer to match the floats.Great weight savings and adjustabality on them also.

i have the floats on my 06 crossfire and never had a problem with them. never even had them apart, over 6000 miles on them. every coil over shock i've ever had has blown out somewhere in the middle of nowhere making me limp it home with a bad ride.

Very easy to change out. I like the Floats a lot for the big hits, while a bit stiff on the stutters, which is just the way air shocks work. Coil Over more linear. I resolved this on my floats by adding the Fett Bros. air canisters. they just screw on the air valve & thats its. They add volume for the stutter bumps. Made them much more linear. They go for about $80/pair for the small ones and $145/pair for the larger capacity.
