We arrived in Chatham on Thursday late pm. headed out the door Friday morning heading east down trail 8 to trail 7 south, 8 was smooth all weekend, plenty of snow and lube. headed south on 7 to 411 south. 7 was smooth until we started getting close to 411 where it had a some light chop. 411 south was just groomed and a 10 all the way down to 2. we took 2 over to Big Spring Bar for gas and lunch. Headed out 2 back up to 7 back to 8 and home to Chatham. Trails were all 8-9 out of ten all weekend. Saturday we went back out 8 east to Christmas, thru Munising ( it was rough the last 5 miles past the gas station at Highway 13, then on to the haywire ( 41 ) south to Jack pine for the relic ride, tons of machines there, very good time. trails very good all the way. we rode up to Boot lake to see if our buddy's made it on there 70's scorpions, which they did. checked out the festivities there before our buddy left ahead of us to return to jack pine. Ran into them a couple miles down with a burned piston, so we towed hi to the Thunder lake store and continued back 413 to 7 north and back to 8 west back to Chatham/ Sunday we headed west on 8 to 32 south to 16 and then 5 north to 32 east back 8 and then back to Chatham. Can only think a few miles of semi ruff trails all weekend. Groomer did a great job with limited new snow they haven't really gotten the last few weeks. riding this weekend was as good as I have ever had in 30 plus years of riding. Great time with my boy and buds...
