)I am living this dream too. I live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, about 70 miles from DC. I grew up in Grand Rapids and went to school at MTU. I haven't seen this much snow at one time since my time at Tech (class of '92).
The worst part is I brought my snowmobile up to Michigan over New Years since we never get enough here to play on. It now appears that my snowmobile must repel snow because now Michigan isn't getting much snow and we have too much (if that is really possible). All I can say is this area is not even close to being equiped to handle this much snow and we are getting another 10+ inches today.
