No pictures yet but my weather station has winds gusting to 41mph, deck has a solid 12" of snow and when I went out to plow again I got lost, bypassed my driveway and had no idea. REALLY hoping my wife doesn't go into labor tonight. I never thought I would say this but it is too bad out there to ride a snowmobile...
I was out few times to clear the driveway and walkways. On my last trip out I was fairly quick and came back to over an inch where I started... lets say 20 minutes.
I'm SO depressed!!! Had to fly to Chattanooga this morning for work returning Thursday so I miss it. My work (downtown) told everyone to stay home today and tomorrow. SO wish I was there to sit and watch and shovel it (not that shovelling is really all that fun, but good exercise). There is only one way to fix all of this and that is that i'm going to the Yoop for a 4 day weekend this weekend to ride.
1flatlander,,Hey i use bread crumbs also ,,but they get lost in the deep snow ,,sssoooo i decided to use GARLIC BREADCRUMBS,,,,( can smell them if they get buried..) Pretty smart huh??Meathead
As an amateur photo hound, I say true based on the shadows, but the shot was probably taken laying on the ground looking up to give the impression the snow path is deeper than it really is. Done that myself for effect, but it doesn't look photo shop to me. ;-)
Here is a video clip from my helmet cam. I apologize for the whole clip, new camera and could not figure out how to crop. If you look at this you can see how bad visibility is, and how the roads are just ghostly due to the power outages. At 1:19 you can see lightning light up the sky. I thought it was pretty cool.
