I just remove the 2 bolts on each valve and pull them out spray a little brake clean on them use a razor blade to remove carbon if required and put them back in, but some remove the cables from the servo and and clean them on the work bench. Here is a link to a how to that will help.
the zr zl 600 is a bit of a bigger pain you have to pull the Allen bolts inside housing if I remember to drop the valves or just to pull them out they are weird 2 round 3piece things
the zl valves are diff than the picks above but come out the same the zl valves are 2 round valves any new project have the digital cam ready.that way when life's unexpected disturbances hit you can remember what you were doing 4 days latter
