Clutch and Gas question

My clutch don't wanna seem to come off, so i sprayed pb blaster thru the bolt hole and tightened the clutch puller as far as i could and i'm going to let it sit overnight and maybe it'll loosen up and i'll try tomorrow before i go to the packer game. Any other suggestions?

Gas question: is there any siphon to recommend? i've had so many siphons and i can't get any of them to work. Is there any other way to drain the gas tank?

Clutches can be a pain. Couple of tricks.1) run it track in the air heat the clutch up through mechanical action, get the impact gun & clutch puller and have at it. 2) try the grease option, I have never tried it buy other guy's have and it creates a hydraulic force to aid in removal. PB is good stuff, normally that & the impact gun will do it. 3) tap on the end of the clutch puller with a piece of brass or soft metal ( lead ) while under load.

Siphon. here is what I use, it's pretty good, used it several times, your sled tank has to be higher than you dump can. ( $10 @ a marine or sled dealer )

Grease option will work everytime..just fill the hole 1/2 way or so and put your puller in there and go...also a good "rap" on a bolt under tension will work also..

Super syphon as stated is about the best..a good trick is you may not have enough gas to get a good syphon so dump a couple gallons of gas in the machine and then syphon it out..I know it sound wierd but has worked many times in the past for me...I also put the back of the machine up in the air so all the gas comes to the front of the tank and usually get just about every drop out...then you can look in the bottom of the tank with a flashlight to see how clean it is.

Tip the sled on the side clutches up. fill the hole with water and insert the puller. give it a couple turns and it will pop off. Water is much less messy than grease to clean up after it comes off.

Actually forgot about the water trick..read that in a mag last year...seems like the artical even said that if you still had a stubburn one to let the water sit in there on a cold night and the freezing of the water will pop it off also...don't know if I would try that one but he claimed it worked fine for him.

For a good siphon make your own with a piece of 3/8 copper tubing 3 feet
long and 3 foot piece of clear tubing. Bend a hook in the top of the
copper so the flexible tubing does't kink. Start the siphon by shooting
some air in with a rag wrapped around the tube. The rigid tube can be
pushed down to the lowest spot in the tank.
