went for a ride today and when I came to a stop one time the motor seemed to snub out. when I went to start it it was hard to pull. it did start after I gave it a hard pull but then started to roll as soon as the motor started. it happened a couple more times but I would catch it before it would quit and would just do a roll through. seemed fine during normal riding but only noticed when I would try to stop, but only once in a while. im assuming the clutch is just sticking. wondering if I can spray it down with some lubricant or if its time for a rebuild? only has about 13000 miles on the clutch and has never been touched.

Clutch is probably beyond repair I see you're in omro there's a guy in omro who parts out sleds I'm sure he's got one

Just wrote this to another member....

Google primary clutch removal...good video on it.

Once you get the clutch off you can remove the six bolts holding the top of the clutch. Go around robin as the spring forces the top up.

At this time you can inspect your rollers..no flat spots and roll nice...weights.....they should go up and down freely and no side to side movement. ( hole in weight getting oblong)...and your spring. also you buttons where clutch slides.

If the spider has to come off you better take clutch to someone that knows what's shaken.

Again Google it and there are videos.

We do this every year. If you do it yourself you learn more every year and removal of the clutches are easier if you really have too.

The secondary....you should also remove but to check this on your sled put your parking brake on and just like you are putting on or taking off your belt you should be able to turn the back part of the clutch to open and then should snap back.

Google secondary clutch

Good luck
