Was gonna go riding today but I'd like to see at least 0
(I must be getting soft)

Heck the dog went out to pee and was back in the house in about 20 seconds!

-4 F on my weather station now. I'm gonna go for a 2 mile walk soon. I will dress accordingly. I love walking in the winter. No sweating and no mosquitoes!

-23 in St Germain, and that is down and out of the mainstream. Almost ND weather and with less wind.

Was just in St G. last weekend. Weather was perfect but snow was marginal. Now, probably the other way.

Rode Saturday putzing around on lake and then rode trail back to High Cliff. Was little chilly out on lake with wind. Of course made few stops to warm up.

12 below this morning, and entire neighborhood without power for 4 hours. Quick repair by ComEd (thanks) but had started thinking of pulling the genny out.

How was your ride? Live on south side of High Cliff and didn't make it out yet. Rode down by the Kettles on Saturday with a friend, and was impressed with the trails in that direction. Some serious drifting going on, but can't blame the clubs on that!

kinda scouting mission. Slow going on lake looking for shoves and drifts......was only 2nd track. I was close to shore, probably better running out farther. Stopped at Harbor Bar for bowl chili, took trail back. Was ok. Lots of thin spots in fields, and lot of drifting too. Think trails will be better after few more grooms. Got back just went back down on lake to play in some of deeper stuff by shore.

sorry for the sideways picture but I saw -36 on my drive in this morning. Went for a short ride by myself on Saturday when it was -10 and decided if I was out with other people I’d have no problem going for a good ride but since I was on my own, I turned it around and went home.

Well, the 1st track was mine! I hit the lake to test out my replaced thumb warmer on Thursday. So you had to go right past my house. I often play on the lake when there is enough powder or drifting to do so, but it has been weak so far. If you ever want to meet up, let me know. Usually I am out there alone, which isn't always the best of ideas.

We went below zero on Friday night the 5th, has not risen above zero since then. If our local forcast is correct we are supposed to stay below zero until some time on Tuesday the 16th, that would be 10 days without any temperature above zero, the wind has been blowing pretty good most days also with wind chills up to 50 below

When I woke up at 6:50 am today, the furnace was running high speed non-stop. Looked at my phone and it said -30F. No wind today though.

Hi Gary,
Pulled out of Bemidji, MN this morning at 6AM headed to Green Bay and it was -39..coldest I've seen up there yet.

Saw -41 on the Tundra temp gauge 20 miles west of Grand Rapids, MN on 2.

Tundra got 9.2 MPG pulling an empty 6x12 enclosed trailer.
Can't wait to load a Polaris Ranger and head back tomorrow..probably 7.5 MPG.
