Wow, you guys are tough.
For me, we rode from Eagle River, WI to Baraga Casino and it was about 14 below. By the time I got there I needed the hot tub to stop shivering and had wind burn on my neck.

Probably around 40 below. With wind. It gets that way up here where I live. After 20 below it all feels the same. The old Polaris triples really liked it cold. They would sing a beautiful song.We were on a poker run about 15 years ago. Got to the home base bar around news time. Headline for news was that the water tower had frozen up in a nearby town. All you need is decent clothes and a tall windshield. Not a big deal.

I believe it was the winter of 2013/2014 that the nightly temps in St. G went below zero for 51 consecutive nights.......many morning that season we headed out for rides south of -20 with highs not getting above -5 ..........we did have great snow till 3-30 that year though....miss it.

-28 this past year out of Ash River/Crane Lake.

Past years have usually had a -20 to -25 start to the day at some point.

Knew it was getting cold 2 years ago in da yoop. We were heading back to casino in watersmeet around 10 pm and when we pulled in sign said -27. Next morning woke up sign out front said -36. We waited till noon and it was a balmy -22. Got to krupps that day and watched a couple stuffing empty buschlight boxes in the front of their coats for wind protection.... Like was said good clothes and big windshield I was comfy all day. Don't bother me a bit.

Started one morning in Hornepayne. Got stuck there because a carb iced over the night before. Fired sleds up, engine temp was -40 something. Took a very long time to get up to up operating temp. That was 3 winters ago, President's Day weekend, when the polar vortex happened. The whole upper midwest had highs in the negatives.

38 below and the Gov had closed all the schools. Start of that ride was Int Falls and heading to southern MN.

We started early that day. First gas fill was in the dark.
Funny thing was a remark from counter at the station on the pre light fill. " Be careful on the trails, the kids don't have school today." Her intent was to warn us of all the extra traffic.

Quite a few times in -40 or colder, It is not that bad if you are dressed for it. One time it was almost -50

I was going to reply with -16 but forget that. Compared to others here that's warm. I don't like being out below that temp as it's not really safe if something goes wrong.

Ya I hear that. We were a couple mile from the hotel waiting for the group to catch up it was -30 when here comes a headlight towards me. Its a young kid riding by himself. he stopped along side of me to clean the frost from his visor. I walked over and asked where his group was and he said he was riding alone. I told him that the temps are deadly right now. He assured me that he had a cell phone if something went wrong..... Stupid.

-30 a few years ago windshield too short, no gauntlets face and hands frostbit to the max. Now have high windshield and skinz hand guards no problems riding all day -20 in the twistys ...grades either over super fast or slow 45-55 mph if we have a distance to go faster than that and the cold creeps into your core.
