It was cold....don't have an exact temp, but after awhile I started feeling warm...nice and warm and thought to myself this isn't normal. One of guys in our group cheeks started turning black the next day.

2002 Timmins Canada .....-37 below for 57 miles. My wife and I lost or missed the trail sign due to blowing snows. Then returned to the Motel we were staying . We were so cold we hit a warm shower and didn't even eat supper that night. Try pulling a new 800 MXZ through when it's that cold. Next AM found many trucks in the lot failing to start. One brutal week.

On Feb 3 1996 it was -27 at the start of the 28th I-500 race. In Sault Ste. Marie Mi.
Can't imagine how cold it must have been for those guys (the racers). I know we were freezing our B.... off, riding to and from the race. Not sure of the temps, but we rode the days prior to and after the race. Was really F...ing cold, I remember that.

I was racing at the ISR World Series Ice Drags in Arbor Vitae, Wi that same weekend...Coldest recorded temp ever in Wi that weekend was -47*f...I left Chicago at just before dawn on Friday and never shut off my big block dually till I got back home around midnight sunday...It was the nastiest 2.5 days in my 47 years of snowmobiling...

Rode several mornings in Ontario this year -25/-35F. 2 days never got warmer than -20F. Dress correctly, no problem. But the wind makes it worse.
