conceal / carry question

There are conceal /carry permit classes in Minnesota for the UTAH cc permit. The literature states that the permit is good for MN and many other states. It only requires a 4 hour class and $50.
Does anyone have experience with this? If I go what will I need to provide (birth cert.? etc.)

Check your state laws. Some non-resident conceal permits are valid in other states. I know Michigan won't allow a non-resident CCW permit for concealed carry.

Non-residents with resident CCW permits can carry in Michigan. Non-resident CCW permits are NOT valid in Michigan.
