Two of my buddies on Lake Gogebic racing.
2012 Arctic Cat XF 1100 Turbo vs. a 2011 Ski Doo MXZ X 800 E-Tec.
Both are beautiful sleds and the turbo looks fast when it's not running.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66CJSzNM55s

Experienced riders, both hooked up, about the same number of pics and within 15 lbs of body weight.

I am a Ski Doo guy myself, but it wasn't even close - Enjoy.

Don't forget - See Tom and Becker at the Bergland Bay Bar. They are great people and and ask for a Blonde Tom. It's a new drink only available at the Bay Bar.

I still wouldn't buy it...period, end of story.
No doubt, as long as they run, they are fast.....when they run.

Did you expect a different outcome?

The Z1 Turbo is at 180+ REAL H.P. and the Ski-Dog is at mid 150's.

IF you can deal with the extra weight, the ZI Turbo is unbeatable as a lake racer, if that's what you want to do.

Add a Boost programmer from D & D, (or others) and the Z1 makes 275-280 trail-able H.P., everything else STOCK.

If that aint enough, with a lil race fuel and crank up the boost some more, it makes an incredible 315 H.P.! That's a STOCK engine with the programmable E.C.U./BOOST CONTROLLER, silencer and different waste-gate.!

For $6,000, Speedwerx in Forest Lake can turn them up to 600 HP, or so they said on Sled Head 24/7. What would you do with all of that HP?

they are getting well over 600hp on Glenn hall 1100xf .
really though who is surprised cat has the most powerful sled on the snow AGAIN?
come on yr after yr after yr they have the dominant lake racers.
I just hope this move away from Suzuki is not going to end up like other MN sled builders who thought they could do it better than the Japanese

an 800 against a 1100cc, that's like a 600 running against a 800cc, what would you expect.

That is a AC thing fastest snowmobile out of box back to thunder kitty. I like raw power but handling more important to the masses.

I had a well tuned 600 cat that would beet or keep up with most 800's every one accused me of having a BB ported motor with a altered stock pipe. but It was not just well tuned cleaned up transfers everything aligned and clutched for the race I wanted to run would smoke 90% of the 800 it ran across fun toy to mess with peoples ego at the bar
