Will be there Saturday. Guess we'll miss peak colors, but it will still be a good time with my son.

You won't be past peak on Saturday, there is a lot of green mixed in yet. The color should hang on for a while, barring any huge winds. IMO, colors seem a tad muted due to lack of precip not to mention lack of cooler temps, but still a beautiful display. Enjoy!

Great news! Looking forward to it.

Heading out on the trike today. Will be on Brockway Drive Wednesday.
Make sure to hit 41 either on your way up or way back. That color covered ride is always sweet whether your on a bike or in a vehicle. Enjoy & safe travels.

Did the whole route. Had a great time----500 miles in 2 1/2 days.

We had a beautiful day in the U.P. I'd say the colors are close to peak, but not there yet. We're staying at Parkview, so we covered everything between here and Copper Harbor. The weather was a little chilly but not bad. I've been coming to the U.P. for 36 years and I've never seen that many people on Brockway Mountain. We didn't even attempt to eat in Copper Harbor, to many people. I was able to show my son a few new things to him and just enjoy the weekend together. More people than I care to encounter, but still a great day .

The Harbor House in Copper Harbor is great and not too busy on Wednesday.

The Harbor House had a line about 30 people deep outside waiting to get in the door.
I think we were there about 4:00 and it was busy but no one waiting. We had just eaten at Eagle Harbor so we just had drinks. We're going to try and rent their room next summer.
