Just thought I'd share my experience on my recent purchase in case anyone was considering an Arctic Cat purchase. I live about 2 minutes from my local Arctic Cat dealer. Purchased 5 new Cat machines since 2003 and always give my local dealer a shot first, they are low volume and just can't compete. Anyways, John and Trevor where easy to work with, set me up with a shipping company to ship to my door for $250. The website was great www.countrycat.net. They get crated leftover sleds and ATVs from "out of business" dealers and sell them lower than any dealer I have ever seen. They didn't jab me with hidden fees and I couldn't be happier. Sounds like the Cat version of M&M for Polaris sleds. Now if we could find the Yamaha version I might buy a new sled.lol:)

I have bought a lot of parts from them. Always get a discount and no tax because they ship to me. Best part in my mind (besides the great service) is the shipping costs are real cheap and they are real fast. Many times I get it next day. I've ordered parts at 3:00 on a Tuesday and had it at my door by 4:00 on Wednesday. They use a company called Spee-dee delivery which ships just in the upper mid west. I have used them several times myself. I bought a 136 track from a guy in Rapid City SD, cost me $15 for shipping and got it in 2 days.

hot buys are always good deals. have gotten a few over the yrs from them. they will never budge on the listed price for me. but I have always been able to get a cover/belt/jug of oil tossed in.
thomas sno sports also gets alot of sleds from cat salvage at auction and sells cheep.
small dealers just cant compete with that stuff. in fact that cant buy at salvage aucrions unless they sell so many units a yr.
back in the day every dealer could buy from salvage. every racer could also OHHHH do I miss those days of over 1/2 off retail on 1 or 2 yr old new sleds and over 3/4 off parts.crate motors for under $500 with all electronics and throttle bodies
quick call up to Rorie at black magic to get a list of sleds drive up and back in 1 day with a loaded 3 place of new toys for under 10g.

Country Cat is a great all around dealer, i have been doing business with them for over 15 years (back when they were running the dealership out of their dads old barn). They started small and took a few chances that paid off........but the number one thing for them is the outstanding customer service. I am not going to go into details but I drive past another Cat dealership twice a day (to and from work) but I drive 100 miles one way to do business with Country Cat (I have been doing a lot more orders online and have the item shipped).

Great owners, great family, great dealership
