yes a 144 will fit no prob but you will deff need to drop a few grams of weight I would get the dalton adjustabels then you can add and subtract weight as needed.also if going to a 144 you dont need to but I would drop down a few gear sets

yup, my riding buddy Mezz (on this site) had a 06 crossfire 6 and he extended to 144.

he loves it.

those 2 lugs will make a diff I would also think about finding a used newer 141 float skid drop brackets and driver and track with some luck prob get all 4 around 6 or 700 bucks.and then sell your stuff 4 around 3 or 400 to a guy wanting to strech out his zr.

At the end of last season, I changed my track from the 136" X 1.6" to a 144" X 2". i picked up the rail extension kit from Oles, very nicely made, you can't even tell the rail is extended. What a difference in 8" in track length & what a bigger difference in the 2" lug. I did not have to, nor did I change weights or re-gear. I checked my peak rpm which is hitting at around 8000 to 8040. I do not regret making this change one bit & I don't think you will regret it either.-Mezz
