X2 - Rode with a guy this weekend that I will never again - blew out EVERY SINGLE CORNER, to the point that guys in our group were calling him out on it and to knock it off.

Ok, I'm ready for the comments from the other side, go for it......

I run 2" lugs, I try hard NOT to to blow out corners, but its not just big lugs that do it. Even a trail track (cobra or whatever) will take all the snow off corners if Ricky Racer gives it more thumb than reasonable. or pin it from a stop and leave a pile. Whooping up the trail or exits from corners.
Also my personal Pet Peeve is the sleds that pin it off bridges and whoop out the bridge approaches. It's like the most dangerous place to have a rough entrance. They are generally pretty narrow and wouldn't take much of a bad bounce to take out a rail.
I ALWAYS warn new riders to slow way down coming into a bridge. As I do myself.
A little restraint would make the trails a much more enjoyable experience for all.

I don't understand why riders have to accelerate like its a freaking sno cross race. It only takes a few hundred feet (or less) to "come up to speed" by easing into the throttle.
SORRY FOR THE RANT. Been wanting to vent about this (especially pinning it off the bridges) and had considered starting a thread but decided against it.

Also sorry about swinging off topic.

I call it "rolling into the throttle" - I followed the guy washing out the trails for about 7 miles of the 600 we did last weekend, and I had no problem keeping up with him. Funny how that works......

You call me an old fart or whatever you want, but these younger riders roost every corner and launch every driveway. What do you expect from those who are self taught through the X Games?? They are strictly adrenaline junkies who don't appreciate nature and the occasional mingling with wildlife. They are the main reason my sleds are parked when it gets dark. I guess overprivileged millennials exist in the snowmobile world too. And when is the last time you saw a bunch of Levi wannabes putting any money into a groomer donation box? Sorry, my rant is over.
