If this story works out, looks like that guy lived thru the jump and grew old and grey.

Seems odd that he lost at least some of the money....perhaps never went back to get any of it.

There was a documentary on it on the history channel I believe... I saw it about a year ago. If they happen to show it, it's neat to watch.

I saw that show - pretty fascinating. The show presented a lot of circumstantial evidence that D.B. Cooper was really a disgruntled Northwest Orient employee (flight attendant, I think).

I guess it's a sign of the times but it's pretty funny that his ransom was $200,000. Kind of reminds me of Dr. Evil's demand: "One Meeeellion Dollars".

Back in those days 200 thou would have gone a long ways. I thought I saw him about 3 years ago in Bergland hanging with Elvis and JFK.
