we should have a JD summer gathering. Come on up I'll show you guys some atv'ing. It's not no where near as extreme as sleding in the woods because the brush growth gets tall and you become infested with ticks,,,not really but riding in brush is no fun. There are many places to go and things to see, kinda like trail riding. Lots and lots of logging roads to explore

I don't have any specific plans ever, just kinda a whim thingy. Best to let the wet season dry out a bit. The bugs will peak after a while and than I usually get out there

All four seasons are beautiful in the UP for sure! I moved here two years ago and love it ! (except for the pay)Cool stuff like awesome scenery/nature (saw a big black bear 4 wheeling last summer), fishing/camping, sledding, 4 wheeling, skiing summer festivals etc. it's all around you.

I to was quite suprised how incredible the summers are up here. I bought and moved because of the snow. The summer thing was just a bonus.
Riding the quad is a blast. Lots of forest roads out this way. The post about the view being the same unless you are in the lead.... so true when conditions are dry. Going out riding in the rain or just after is my fav.

I took the Outlander out for the first spin yesterday. Trail 7 has no more snow. Its crazy how quick every thing melted.
My lake opened up yesterday. Looking forward to fishing. The Bald Eagles beat me to it. They have been out there as soon as there was open water.
