Dan and Matt in the snowies

Yoop ran out out snow so we headed west. Pulled in yesterday it was 55 degrees and melty...lol. Started snowing over night and hit over foot fresh up top today. Was still snowing when we headed for the cabin. Should be another foot+ freshie tomorrow am.

Few more from today. Rode 930 till 530 with guide from 3C. We are shot. ha. Not a cloud in the sky and very little wind.

Holy blue bird day! Awesome!

Dan, any issues with the 800 at all this year?


Skylar, not one sled issue at all (the bent parts were my fault..ha), not one hiccup all year (unlike the last two years..ha). Around 1k (all boondockin) miles on it, even had it in to Kips for a once over before we rolled out here, chain a bit loose, other than that, everything looked great. No complaints at all, real tippy with sway bar off and it really did good today out here in the steep and deep up top at 11k feet. Seen quite a few pros out here.

Few more odd and end pics

Snowy trip was a great way to end the season. Pic showing the tree with hole around was were I fell into on small unexpected dismount. My head ended up a few ft below my track and I was still falling. yikes.

whoooooooooooooha, incredible, Nice looking riding. Much better snow than our trip, good for you guys. Looks like west is gonna be an annual trip for me now. Hooked before I ever made it out there. Nice pics, thanks for sharing

Snow and weather were perfect for a mid march trip and evidently there were alot of us JD'ers out there at the same time! We should of all met for a beer on this unofficial JD forum ride LOL!

Ner, yea that snotel was right, crazy snow depth. We rode with Brandon, his brother, whoa is he fun to ride with...look out! We really put some tracks down with only 3 guys.
