Dane County WI Radar Run

Here is the information regarding our Radar Run this year (see attachment). We believe there will be a sled running at this event that is capable of going 150+ mph in 800 feet. In 2011, this sled went 144.9 mph and we are hoping to have some sleds that can challenge to make the day more exciting. We will also have an award for the fastest woman on a sled. UPDATE: Our event is still on for January 19th on Lake Waubesa @ Christy's Landing! We have been contacted by the World Record holder in 1,000 feet (183 mph) that he will be participating in our event. We have also heard that we will have sleds that can top 150 mph as well. We could also have sleds that compete in the NSSR that might participate also.

Thank you to all that showed up at our event, we had a great turnout with some fast sleds. We had a top speed of 157.4 mph and the next fastest was 151.1 mph. If you would like to see pictures you can check them out on Facebook
